Khan was a sick—SICK child when he was younger. He would fall ill almost weekly. At one point, he even developed cancer near his head, a condition so severe it eventually reached the news.
And somehow... he survived every single one of those conditions without ever lasting complications.
Even his own parents were shocked every time they received results from the doctors.
But above all else, they were happy.
Khan Had Very High Resistance to Fevers and Other Sickness Due to Something in the World Setting Called "Kiri".
Questions And Answers TIME! Q&A
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
“What is Kiri?” you may ask me!
Something Like Ki from Dragon Ball or Cursed Energy from Jujutsu Kaisen
Kiri is basically the energy of the entire universe.
Everything you know is compost from electrons and Kiri: The light, the water, the very grass you touch.
The Universe recognizes Kiri as the primary source of life energy.
though modern humanity still knows nothing to very little about it.
Every living being contains at least a small amount of Kiri within themselves.
Life naturally absorbs Kiri from the outside world and circulates it through the body.
"What determines how powerful someone can become?"
what determines how strong someone can be is their Capacity to release that energy outward.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
AND! Fun Fact: Since Kiri is the very source of existence itself, nearly anything can be created with enough of it.
Magic? Sure!
Super strength? Also yes!
Future-reading abilities? Absolutely.
(Another Character of mine has it)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
But what happens if someone possess little or almost no capacity to release Kiri?
If a person completely lacks Kiri, they likely cannot exist at all, or they die due to lacking the energy necessary to sustain their body.
(If someone possesses only a weak release capacity, they generally cannot create MUCH or use supernatural abilities without intense proper training.)
What happened to Khan is that he had a very rare condition in the world setting, that the DM assigned to me, "Infinite Kiri"
That wasn't exactly the name he said, but as i said, i can't remember much properly.
* Ahem. *
Due to that condition, Khan’s body could generate Kiri from within itself without needing to absorb energy from the outside world.
However, because Khan was still only a child, and because the world itself understood very little to nothing about Kiri, since he possessed no proper capacity to release the overwhelming amount of energy his body continuously produced.
As a result, the Kiri would eventually consume him from the inside out.
Burning through his body every single moment of his life.
That was why he became sick so often.
Doctors could never properly diagnose his condition.
No matter how many examinations they performed,
they could not identify exactly what was destroying his body.
To medical science, it appeared to be nothing more than an unknown terminal disease.
As his parents did not know what else they could do, they decided to simply give Khan the happiest life he could possibly wish for before the so called “terminal disease” until it eventually kills him.
The city they lived in was pretty much massive, lots of schools, crowds, technology, endless streams of news broadcasts, etc.
Most of those broadcasts discussed the murders.
Unknown killings had been happening throughout the city for years.
And recently while Khan was still attending school, they had begun happening again.
Anyway
while going through his day as usual, Khan was eating lunch during recess when he noticed a child sitting alone far away from everyone else.
Separated And Ignored.
Because of his naturally understanding personality, Khan decided to approach him.
Apparently, from what Khan learned, the child’s name was Maguro (まぐろ).
He doesn't have any younger images, sorry-
Maguro was considered strange by most kids around school, or at least, that was what the rumors constantly said.
Khan wanted to know more about him.
The two shared a long conversation together,
*Although it was mostly one-sided. *
Maguro continuously talked about unusual perspectives involving morality, politics, and society.
(Which was very strange for a 10-year-old but okay?? Perhaps it came from his family.)
Anyway:
While returning home together, the two passed by a small convenience store, where Khan used the remainder of his lunch money to buy Maguro a deck of Yu-Gi-Oh cards.
specifically, Madolche (I Love This Deck)
he wasn't that happy to receive it tho (apparently)
Jollineum (GM): .... Why?
"Why.. NOT? :D"
After that, the two departed to their homes.
But, later that night, Khan woke up to noises coming from outside his house.
At first, he thought it was nothing more than the wind brushing against the trees beyond his window.
But something about it felt... wrong. Uneasy.
The kind of feeling that settles deep inside your chest when your mother is asking what A03 is and what is "Toxic slow burn" and why is it bookmarked.
His parents remained asleep.
The house itself was silent, almost unnaturally so, while the distant city lights barely pierced the darkness outside.
Yet despite everything telling me to stay inside, i felt compelled to go outside.
As if someone or SOMETHING was calling him.
Quietly, i left the house and followed that instinct into the outside.
The further he walked, the quieter the world became.
The Streetlights were disappearing behind him. The sounds the city used to make were fading slowly. Eventually, only the forest of the city remained.
Jollineum (GM): cold air, damp soil, and the sound of leaves shifting beneath his footsteps.
Then the smell hit me.
~~ Rotting. ~~
Hidden among the trees, he discovered the corpse of a person partially collapsed against the ground.
Jollineum (GM): The body had clearly been dead for days. Flesh darkened by decomposition, insects crawling through exposed wounds, the earth around it soaked by rain and decay.
He froze.
And yet... something told me to keep walking.
Further ahead, near disturbed soil beneath the roots of a tree, he found another body.
Jollineum (GM): A dog.
Buried poorly enough that parts of its fur remained visible beneath the dirt.
Jollineum (GM): Around its neck there is a familiar collar, The same collar you have seen Maguro’s dog use.
Khan’s breathing became uneven.
Without fully understanding what he had just discovered, or what might have happened to Maguro himself, he immediately grabbed his phone and called the police.
But even as he spoke with the police assistant...
I realized something horrifying.
The noises the forest had, suddenly Disappeared.
There Was No insects, No Animals, No Wind, NO NOTHING.
And then—
A noise echoed from somewhere deeper within the woods.
It WASN'T distant.
I
or At least
HE'S
Jollineum (GM): NOT alone.
TIME SKIP!
(After That, There Was a Time Skip to After Khan's Test About Promoting Himself from Lawyer to Judge.)
(After i Asked What Had Happened That night, The GM Said Khan Couldn't Remember Because he Suffered from Post Infant Traumatic Amnesia, meaning that he couldn't remember what happened that day, everything was foggy white.)
Apparently That IS very real and can INDEED happen in real life.
